Protests have broken out in Austin Texas over ICE raids.

KXAN reports:

AUSTIN (KXAN and Associated Press) — Police arrested two people in separate protests in Austin against recent increases in ICE operations early Sunday morning.

One person was arrested for throwing lit fireworks into an Austin police car, setting it on fire, during a protest at Lamar Boulevard and Rundberg Lane, where immigrants illegally in the country have been arrested in recent days.

Authorities say the man who tossed the fireworks into the patrol car got into another vehicle that drove off, was followed by officers and was apprehended when he tried fleeing on foot during a traffic stop early Sunday.
