President Trump, in an attempt to reform a rogue intelligence service, has tapped one of his supporters and confidants to review the agencies.

From The Hill:

According to the newspaper, Stephen Feinberg, a co-founder of Cerberus Capital Management, has informed his company’s shareholders that he is currently considering a move to join the Trump administration.Feinberg also maintains strong ties to top Tump officials including chief strategist Stephen Bannon and senior advisor Jared Kushner.

Both officials declined to comment on the New York Times report.

In my opinion, this doesn’t go far enough. Our intelligence services are completely out of control and need to be reigned in completely.

The big news story last week was Michael Flynn having a normal conversation with the Russian Ambassador. Someone in our intelligence department illegal recorded Flynn, a constitutionally protected American and leaked that information. That is 2 crimes by my count.

President Trump should look to restrict much of their powers to not only protect himself but also to protect the American people.
