White House Correspondent, Jonathan Karl tried to pull a film flam on Press Secretary Sean Spicer today.

He asked Mr Spicer if the President “still stands by his allegation that President Obama ordered wire tapping or surveillance of Trump Tower despite the fact that the Senate Intelligence Committee says they see no indication that it happened?”

Spicer acknowledged that President Trump still stands by the allegation but pointed out that Karl misrepresented the statement by the Senate Intelligence Committee.”

Via US Senate:

Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016.”

Notice the area in bold. It’s been widely reported that the Department of Justice asked for additional time to provide evidence to the committee. Ofcourse they have no evidence at this point!

Just another example of the media altering reality to further their own agenda.
