President Trump made a very provocative but correct statement. “Immigration is a privilege, not a right.” He made the statement standing right next to German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is a huge proponent of open borders and unchecked immigration.

President Trump is not making this statement in a vacuum. It was made for a purpose. Germany and Chancellor Merkel essentially run the EU. This statement is even more true with the exit of the United Kingdom (Brexit) from the EU. He is sending Chancellor Merkel a clear signal that the United States no longer believes in a system of open borders and globalism as it relates to immigration policy.

Finally, an American leader that will stand up to the global bureaucrats.
